Description:
This truck spent its first 20 years in Phoenix Arizona until purchased in 2013. Rust Free Fenders, Rockers, and Frame. There is the usual rust beneath the battery tray and surface rust around the top of the tail gate.
Timing Chain, Timing Chain Guides, Oil Pump and Water Pump were all replaced in 2013.
Front Upper and Lower Ball Joints, Upper Control Arm Bushes, and Shocks were replaced in 2019.
Engine starts easily and runs quietly and smoothly. The transmission, transfer case and front locking hubs are all in good working order.
The exterior is not pristine, but is remarkably good for a 30 year old pickup. As mentioned above, no rust on the body, except some surface rust along the top of the tailgate where a bed topper rubbed through the paint (see photos). Some minor dents and scratches but nothing serious (see photos).
Interior is in very good condition. Blue vinyl and cloth upholstery. The dash, steering wheel, headliner and seat have no cracks or tears. All handles, buttons and knobs are in-tact and in working order. The door panels are discolored near the top and the right side door panel has two repaired tears (visible in photos). The A/C worked well for several years after the truck was purchased in 2013, but no longer blows cold. I have not tried to determine the fault because I usually have the windows down in warm weather.
