Description
Up for sale is a great 2001 Toyota RAV4 EV.
The car is in great condition. Comes with a Magne Charge and spare Ecopia tire. Interior has leather seats. This was a rare upgrade option only included in a handful of cars.
The exterior has two small issues including a small crack on the front top right which has been patched and a dent on the front right fender. Both are easy fixes.I bought this from a high school in Auburn, CA. It was used there since 2001 by a science teacher.
My goal was to replace the batteries and get it running but I have too many projects and am no longer interested in this one. (Now working on an electric truck). My loss is your gain. The car does not run and the batteries do not charge. It was last running 2 years ago, and stopped taking a charge after 164k miles. The car will need to have the batteries refurbished or new ones installed.
There is a community of people online who work on these cars, and a few dealers still service them in CA.
Please ask any questions, I’d be happy to answer.
