1998 RAV4 All Wheel Drive.. This was my daughters car and I am now in a position to buy her a new car.
Rego till 08/06/2016.
Currently has 214000km's.
At 210000km's the following major service was performed,
New timing belt
Head gasket replacement
Full head service inc valve guides
New Spark Plugs,New leads,
Engine oil + filter, Air filter, Fuel filter, New coolant, Coolant sensor, Front/Rear differential New oil,
New Battery
New Brake Pads
New front brake discs
New Sway bar bushes
The RAV has all its service books completed since new.
Ice cold Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power windows & Mirrors. Pioneer CD with aux cable to plug in your phone or ipod.
High Density headlight bulbs with transformers have been fitted. Gives a strong white light.
There is some clear paint deteriation on the top of the RH guard and some dents around vehicle. Apart from RH guard top, paint is shiny.
The RAV drives good, and is a everyday driver, but there is a MECHANICAL PROBLEM. Only noticeable when mainly driving in a car park or petrol station, there is a binding or clunk feel when turning at this slow speed. Happens in both forward and reverse. Once driving again problem goes away. As mentioned, this car is a daily driver and regulary goes from the blue mountains to the beach with no problems.
Pick up lower blue mountains. Test drives are welcome before the auction finishes.
