Description

2011 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 Auto, PS, PB, AM/FM/CD, AC. 55K MILES

Truck is 100% top shape. Truck was purchased roughly 1 year ago on E-Bay from an insurance auction with body damage to the driver’s side fender, door and roof. These were replaced and truck was completely repainted (Including fender flares and front to match body color). There was absolutely no frame, suspension, or mechanical damage at all. I cannot imagine how the previous owner was able to have this truck considered a wreck but they did; so it’s now on a PA reconstructed title.
Truck has been completely gone through mechanically, everything works as it should, AC blows ice cold, 4X4 works flawlessly, no dash / warning lights. Tires are brand new, zero miles.
Inspections prior to purchase are more than welcome. Bring your mechanic. The truck is currently registered and insured so it is available pretty much anytime for test drives and / or inspections.
All services are current including recent oil change and battery.
Now when I went about having the body work done, I purchased an identical 2008 Toyota Tacoma also in silver that I was going to use as the donor for body panels. The donor truck was a 5 speed with 189k miles. When the truck showed up it turned out to be way too nice to chop up. All it really needed was a new clutch so I installed one.
Since I only need a truck to use once in a while, the 5 speed with high miles is just fine for me. I only use it once a month if that. So this one with just 55k on the odometer is way too new / nice for what I need. This is why I am selling it.
Long story short, I went on co-part.com and bought a third Tacoma, also in silver again, that had a blown engine but perfect body. We cut the roof off halfway down the B pillar and replaced the bad roof on this truck. The last 11 pics are of the truck when I purchased it prior to repairs. If you look closely you can see the roof damage. The roof on this truck was all messed up from where a tree branch had fallen on it. I also used the front left fender, hood, driver's side headlight and a few other items to complete the repairs. Once the body work was complete, I had the entire truck re-spayed with the stock silver paint. When the body shop painted it, they did everything including the bumpers, grill and mirrors. Truck looks 100% nicer with the painted mirrors and bumpers and grill.
The truck turned out mint. Once the body work was complete, I took it to my mechanic and had him go through it completely, He replaced some belts and hoses, did an oil change, new battery and if I remember correctly I think he also replaced the front brake pads. I'm not 100% certain about the pads but I am pretty sure. I did take a peek at them just the other day when they installed the new tires and they appear to be new.
Now this was my first time ever trying to do a salvage truck. Let me tell you, the inspection process and going through DMV to get the title is an absolute pain in the *ss. I think it took my like 6 months to get through the whole process. First they lost all my paperwork and receipts, that along with the Covid did not help. So while I was waiting for the title I drove the truck on some plates I had laying around during that time.
I now have the PA branded Title. New owner should have no problem registering / titling the truck in their home state but please confirm this prior to bidding. Prior to receiving my PA Title I had to have a thorough inspection of the truck and everything, and I mean every last little thing that was installed on the truck when new had to be present and working 100%. Plus I had to provide receipts for every single part that was utilized in the repair process. It was a truly maddening. Now that it is all said and done, I have a mint condition, virtually new Tayota Tacoma that I have absolutely no need for.
So just as I normally do, I am putting it up for auction hear on E-Bay with No-Reserve
Personally I think all auctions should be no reserve. What this means is that the item will sell to the highest bidder regardless of price.

As such, remember that you are bidding to own. So please make sure that prior to bidding you have had all your questions and concerns answered, that you have inspected the pics and read this description carefully, have the funds readily available to complete the deal as soon as the auction ends, and most importantly, have the ok of your spouse, SO or anyone else you need to ask before you bid.

If you are the high bidder at the end, you own it.
The last 2 pics are of the underside of the truck. There is no rot on the frame, just surface rust. The 11 pictures prior to the last two are of the truck prior to the repairs.

Good Luck, Happy Holidays and cheers.
