I am a huge fan of the movie, and I loved this truck from the moment I saw it. I purchased the truck on May 2001 and it has been in my hometown in Texas ever since. I wanted to
The pickup from Back to the Future is a 1985 Toyota Hilux, immediately recognizable in the film by the KC spotlights in the grille and on the roof, the aftermarket rims and the Sport Rally 5-Speed package. This Hilux has been converted by the previous owner into an exact replica and still looks like new inside and out.
I did upgrade the upholstery, brand new paint. As for engine I replaced: new cylinder head, water pump, new battery, new muffler, new tires 31/12.50/R15 Goodyear, new brake system, new suspension, new shocks as well as new radiator, and of course A/C works perfectly. I don't want to sell my truck but we downsized storage and it needs to go to a new owner that is a Back to the Future fan that will appreciate it, and take care of it as much as I do.
