This ebay style auction is for a 1997 Toyota Tacoma with 156,208 miles. It is a standard cab, Automatic and 2wd/rwd. The exterior color is gold and the interior color is Tan. This vehicle is in great condition and runs great. This is the base model and has manual windows and locks. There is air conditioning and power steering. The original Toyota bed cover is still intact and not cracked or damage. All The tires have a lot of life on the tread.
apparently these year Tacoma's have had a lot of problems with rusting out from underneath the vehicle. This Trucks undercarriage is in great condition, is clean and does NOT have any rust on the frame or the body panels. the only surface rust I see is on some scratches, this is very minor.
The only problems it has are scratches on the bed and hood, a small dent in the front bumper and two dents near the driver side rear tail light (check pictures). other than the cosmetic damage the Tacoma does not need anything.
I recently had to replace the cylinder head. This is because the cylinder head cracked. I also had the exhaust, intake and valve cover gaskets replaced, and new cylinder head bolts a new Ignition control module ($400) distributor ($200), distributor cap and rotor, Ngk Spark plugs, spark plug wires. Also New gates alternator, Power steering, and air conditioning serpentine belts.
The Toyota Tacoma's are wonderful engineered, pickup trucks and can definitely reach over 250,000 miles. Do not pass up your chance on bidding/ buying this truck. The only thing this truck is missing is you in the driver seat.
