Description

special note.. please check travel restrictions as some communist states may not allow it.the poor last guy interested ended up stranded so that's why this great van is now relisted.Thank you so much for checking out our bargain wheelchair Tarago. There possibly is someone out there who just can't afford the $80,000 for a new wheelchair van so this could be the blessing you are looking for.The Tarago has been out of registration for about 3 months so is sold as is with no roadworthy or registration. I would advise any interested buyer to do their own inspection as I am not a mechanic and can only describe the car to the best of my abilities. It seems to drive well but would at least need the the two front tires replaced that I know of. the engine transmission and brakes all feel-good. The air conditioning is cold and has separate rear air conditioning. It was registered as a 2 seater van with wheelchair in back but we do have the three seater middle chair that we have put back.Obviously being an older car it has it's fair share of shopping trolley dents and scratches. But of course they don't affect the drivability of the Tarago. Which by the way is the last of this particular series that was quite unique as it has the engine under the floor making it one of the better handling vans on the road due to it's low centre of gravity. My wife loved driving this model as it has extremely good visibility to the front and handles more like a car than other vans. The van has all the wheelchair tie-down points in the back and we have the adjustable straps to tie down the wheelchair if you need them. It also has the airbag rear suspension to raise and lower the rear but to be honest we never worked it out. The ramp isn't all that steep and is quite easy to push up a wheelchair.Last but not least and sorry to repeat myself but I always strongly suggest potential buyers to come and inspect the suitability especially of something where it is a disability vehicle. And again thank you for your interest.
