Description

Well here goes… It's extremely hard to give up this girl, she's given us so many years of great driving, adventures and comfort. She's neat and tidy and still beautiful. I have let her sit far too long without being used, and it's finally time to bite the bullet.. Her Registration ran out in September.. I have two cars, there's only me and I had already felt frustrated at paying 2 years of rego for her with little to no use as I drive my small car every day and do plenty of Klms.. I had imagined someone in the family might use it or a friend may want to take it for a trip…. not so… I hadn't realised I had let the rego lapse so far as the rego papers had gone to another address.. I haven't used her much when economically my little car is doing the job..
To list some things that need repair
- Air Con- Had this checked by Toyota and it needs the a/c compressor installed which I have bought and comes with the car (friend and family offered to put it in but it hasn't happened yet so I figure I'll just add it here) - obviously will need re-gassing once compressor is installed.
-As shown in the pics some of the upholstery on the side panel of the two front seats and slightly on the side seat in the back need some love.
- She's got a slight dent buff/scrape mark (no paint removed) on the driver side toward the back. Otherwise paint was re-done 2 years ago.. Some slight marks on roof from some wax off some trees but otherwise no faults in the paint.
- tow bar has some rust.
- Will need a new Accelerator cable soon, when it's cold or hasn't been driven much it's a little stiff.
- There's a bit of a screech from somewhere, I haven't narrowed it down as I haven't driven it enough or had the mechanic take a proper look… I think it actually may just be the handbrake not disengaging if it's not properly pushed down. That's also what a friend thought who drove it one day. But best you come check it out if interested.
Anyways, tried to list everything here that I think is important. She's 23 years old so obviously there's some wear on her, but she has not given me barely any trouble in 10 years I've had her.. Replaced the struts brand new back about 4 years ago and that's been it.
You're welcome to come and have a look.
Thanks for looking
