Description
Vehicle was purchased from original owner in November 2017 (with 149,087 miles). My intent was to use it in my lawn business; but I came to realize that I needed a larger truck. Since November of 2017 I have invested the following into this truck: new belts; new radiator hoses; new heater hoses; new thermostat; new radiator cap; new water pump; new spark plugs; new air filter; new fuel filter; new brake pads; new brake shoes; new brake master cylinder; new front calipers; new wheel cylinders; turned rotors & drums; front bearings repacked; new front wheel seals; new front shocks; new rear air shocks; new tie-rod ends; new rims; new Michelin tires; wheel alignment; new Kobalt truck box; new battery; new windshield (I picked up a chip from a rock 2 months ago, but had it repaired within 2 hours of the incident, you can see it if you look for it); new wiper blades; 7-pin trailer hook-up connection; carburetor has been adjusted; recent compression test results were: 140; 150; 140; 140. In EXCELLENT MECHANICAL CONDITION. Except for 1 small wrinkle on top of passenger fender, metal is straight. I believe original owner had truck box covered with topper shell from day 1; thus the good condition of the box. Rust issues should be obvious from pictures. The radio works. I disconnected the speakers for this after-market radio, as previous owner had them suspended in the cab (they were never properly installed; I still have the speakers). I inserted sheet metal under the floor mat on the driver's side, as you could see daylight. The only other thing that comes to mind is a noise like metal banging against the metal of the cab when hitting a bump. It sounds like it is from between the cab and the truck box. I haven't figured out the source of that noise, yet.
