Description
Ever reliable Sporty 1998 Toyota Celica SX ST204.
Ideal first car or economical runabout.
Just fitted with new tyres. New rocker cover gasket. Front main seal replaced along with timing belt. Water pump replaced also for peace of mind.
This car has passed QLD safety certificate without issues and presents well in glossy bright red duco.
It is in excellent overall condition with minor wear and tear consummate with age both inside and out.
The front and rear bumpers have been painted at some stage and are cosmetically rough but undamaged. May improve with a cut and polish or respray for perfection.
Pleasant to drive, the 4 cylinder 2.2 efi engine runs very nicely with plenty of power backed up by a smooth shifting 4 speed auto. The 4 wheel disc brakes do their job well.
The cloth seats are comfortable and like the rest of the cabin, in good condition with sheepskin covers. Carpets likewise are excellent with factory floor mats.
Stereo has front input for phone iPod etc. Power windows, A/C, central locking.
The car was fitted with a Toyota alarm system but currently has no remote. Online forums affirm that aftermarket systems are better and cheaper.
This was purchased and prepared for the road with the view to long term ownership and reliability, but unforseen circumstances force reluctant sale.
There is nothing to spend on this red rocket and I am confident that whoever snaps this up will be very happy with it.
