This Toyota Hiace (CPG382) Van represents great value at $11,000. Vehicle registration has been paid until Sep 2016. It has a powerful 2.4 litre engine.

VEHICLE HISTORY:
1st Owner: Unsure of original vehicle use up until late 1990's, at some point had a minor panel accident causing damage to right side (someone turned sharp on a corner and hit a rock which dented the side) NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE as a result.
2nd Owner: Used as a work for transporting goods to markets and for 10-15yrs did about 5000kms a year only; mostly long driving on country roads between VIC rural towns.

This has allowed the vehicle to stay in pretty good condition with low kms, gearbox, and engine are in great nick.

I bought it, and have done 2500kms, and the following work:

WORK DONE:
(Includes the following, full detail provided to buyer on discussion and can also send progress pictures as well).

*Rust Cut Out Properly:
There was rust at the rear door wells, this was cut-out, re-welded. The original repair to the side of the van, was fully removed taken to bare metal, tack-welded to prevent cracking properly, then re-bogged and smoothed.
*Surface Rust:
Rust converter sprayed, then sanded and under-coated throughout.
*Metal added:
All holes in the floor of the van were filled** with weld and metal, all other minor spots requiring attention also welded (some due to rust) others just due to wear and tear or drilling for extra seats/components.
**Original seat holes (it is a 12 seater bus) were NOT welded, but filled with a lock-tite bolt to correct size allowing seats to be added or components to go in utilising these holes

All significant or noticeable imperfections were bogged, smoothed and undercoated.

Prepepped for full-repaint. There was a significant amount of work to prepare, fill, bog, sand, undercoat, wash, prepsol the car ready for paint.

*Repaint the car:
2 - Pack Automotive, premium paint to original colour code from Paint Mobile, paint is the best available, and hard as a rock (it is actually hard to even scratch off.. got some on tools and now stuck).

*Steering Column
over $1K spend on the Universal joint replacement, and a series of other work including restoring the window-winder mechanism,
CNC new shims for all moving parts in the colomn and gear-shift mech (shifts gears LIKE NEW).
heaps of work.

New Interior:
Rework pump by qualified diesel mechanic.
Remove any oil leaks (so it is a 35 year old diesel with NO OIL LEAKS and has not needed to be reconditioned/restored.

More details to be added when I have time.

Rgds,
Will.
