Description

It's time to let go of my favourite ever car- my beloved 6 seat Hiace van! This van has served me faithfully for the last few years, taking my whole family surfing, cycling and helping with house reno'sit does the lot. With it's 2.4L petrol engine, it's no race car, but with only 225k kms it's barely run in for a Hiace! Living in the country, she happily sits on highway speeds. It has all the mod consno, thats a lie, but it does have cold air con and a quality Pioneer sound system to drown out that pesky road noise, rattles or wife. I'll even throw in my big subwoofer with it so you can really get your doof doof on if your wife has a high pitched voice like mine.
Practical is this cars middle name, with a certified 3 person rear seat that tumbles forward (please remove kids first) to increase load space for Bunnings trips. Or, pile you and 5 mates in with all of your wetties, an esky full of beer and boards on the roof for a sick day chasing waves (make sure to pack coke for the duty driver of course). Carpet in the back adds to the passenger experience and is a lot more eye pleasing than the average Hiace floor.
Has it got a towbar I hear you ask? Yes, well sort of. It has the bar, but you will need to find a tongue and ball as the previous owner neglected to include those in the sale! Just to top it all off, it even has two drink holders in the centre console (careful going around corners with high centre of gravity mugs though - I burnt my man parts when my mug toppled into my lap). No, despite my pleas, the wife didn't kiss it better if you're wondering.
To help your image, the van has a nice set of wheels (not a kerb scrape in site despite letting my wife drive it), awesome goodyear tyres and my favourite Rip Curl sticker. Down the back, some nice after market tail lights dress up it's bum nicely. It pains me to do it, but my Metallica sticker will be sold with the car too. To help your peepers, a set of Narva driving lights are fitted up front.
In terms of conditionlets say she is experienced, but neat and tidy throughout (sounds like an add for a MILF now, sorry). The van has all of the wear you might expect for a 97 model, but is tidy and drives well. There is a bit of rust around the windscreen, mainly near the drivers wiper arm. The paint is pretty good overall, albeit a bit dirty as I live on a small property that means the van is dirty again pretty much by the time I finish wiping it with the chamois. There are a few scratches and one scrape from the previous owner on the front right door. Interior is in good overall condition and is comfortable. The is a dent in the roof courtesy of a branch before I bought it. No biggie though. I cunningly disguised it with careful placement of a roof rack.
The van passed it's pink slip no worries and was re-registered a few months ago, so there is plenty left. As an added bonus, you'll receive free entry to the Booderee National Park until Jan 17! Bonus!
If you're in the market for a practical, fun, reliable van, then this one could be what you're after! Priced to sell!
