1990 Toyota Landcruiser 80 Series DX
1hz 4.2 Diesel, manual, 405xxx km
Recent work completed – New alternator, new radiator, full service of the AC system including a new AC compressor (icey cold). Timing belt kit done at 387xxx along with new water pump. All fluids changed including coolant, gearbox, diffs and transfer. General servicing religiously every 5000km.
Added extras include - 2 inch ironman lift, 33 inch tyres, diff breathers, bull bar, spotlights, winch with dyneema rope, 40 Channel UHF, extractors and 2.5 exhaust system.
Selling due to upgrade and needing a 2nd automatic car. This thing runs great and has been ultra-reliable as per the reputation!! The engine uses no oil and has plenty of power for a naturally aspirated engine. Due to its age I’ve done all the preventative maintenance required to be able to take my family on long trips!
The bad – the paint is far from perfect, there is some rust in areas in (rear windscreen sills, front qtr panel) but has stopped in its tracks with fish oil. Very small leak in power steering and transfer case. This car has obviously been used as a 4wd and is 25 years old, the pictures probably make the vehicle look better than it is. But it is a vehicle I would have no hesitations taking around Aus tomorrow. Currently has rego, but will come as is with no rego or RWC.
Comes with alloys not the Sunraiser wheels pictured in one of the pics.
