Description
You will struggle to find a better example of this model for the price! This car is in amazing condition. Beautiful paintwork. Top of the range Prado 8 seater! This car still drives like a brand new car, it is that good!Low km for its age with service history. Last service done at 190,000kms. Brand new battery. I have just upgraded the rear airbag suspension from the factory set-up to an AirbagMan option for durability, comfort and reliability. If you are looking to buy a Grande Prado around 10 years old, be prepared to spend thousands on replacement airbags soon; guaranteed they will perish, I have already done it for you and they are now stronger, more comfortable and more reliable than the standard ones.Finished in lovely white crystal pearl paint, it looks nearly brand new. Inside is decked with woodgrain inserts & leather seats (electric front), sunroof, multi-zoned climate control, centre console fridge, 6 stacker CD, built-in Sat Nav, front, side & curtain airbags and much more. This model came standard with in-cabin adjustable ride height control, self levelling suspension & on-the-fly adjustable ride comfort control. It is simply a superb set of features, coupled with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), and Descent Control, the car seriously rides like no other. This is the most comfortable car I have ever been in by a long shot. The tyres are the Dunlop all-terrain variety and have ample tread. The beasty V6 offers 179KW and 376Nm of torque, yet it impressed me as it is surprisingly economical and very quiet. I usually average 9.9L-10.5L/100km on the highway and around 14L/100km around town. There is an instrument panel that tells you this among many other interesting things such as barometric pressure, temperature, elevation etc. It has a 180L fuel capacity which means I fill up with premium unleaded (always BP Ultimate) every 2 months.I am very particular about my vehicles and this one is no exception. It has low km for its age and has been very well looked after. Only sign of age is some wear and a hole in the front leather seat edges. I have been told they can be easily fixed however a nice set of sheepskin seat covers might be preferable for the new owner. Fitted with factory tow bar yet only towed small box trailer.
