Hi You are
looking at my 1998 Toyota Starlet up for sale or also known as "The Silver Surfer" and he has done 187,258ks
I bought this for my mum in 2010 and she decided she wanted a bigger car so she gave it back to me last month. Has rego till 25th Feb 2016.
There is nothing mechanically or electrically wrong with it and has been really looked after and always serviced. The only down fall is the body, when i bought him he had a bit of damage but over the years the poor little thing has taken a bit of a beating where people have done hit and runs, opened doors on him and in one case the bonnet was vandalized with a brick! Which I was so disgusted about when i first found out. All the last few photos are of the damage.
It still has 5000ks till its next service but in the time i have looked after it this is what i have done to it.
Replaced in between now and the Last service:
Left Wheel Bearing
Rocker cover gasket
Break Pads
Wheel alignment
What has been done to it after I first got it:
Originally was non power steering got all the parts and got it installed.
Put in a Smart phone friendly Cd Player
Got rear parcel shelf and wired up speakers
Replaced both Doors as they were banged up
Tinted windows
Painted rocker cover.
The Tyres are about all the same amount of tread left which will pass rego and happy to get another certificate for an extra $50.
I may have missed a few minor things i may have missed but i dont think i have.
It will make a great little run around or for a learner
