Toyota Tarago (1998) DUAL FUEL LPG 8 Seater Wagon 2.4L. TCR10W 4 speed automatic transmission
This car can now be viewed in St Kilda by arrangement.
In Dec 2008 I bought this car with 144,000 kms on it for $14,000.
In June 2011 it was fitted with a liquid vapour gas injection system costing $4500. (Oh the fuel savings!!!)
The Tarago comes standard with dual zone air conditioning/heating, power steering, power windows and power mirrors, all of which are in good working order.
It has been regularly serviced and mechanically maintained, resulting in very few items requiring replacement when it was passed as Road Worthy Condition.
Pioneer USB/MP3 stereo with 6 speakers, grey interior, driver and passenger air-bags, anti-lock brakes, tachometer and good tyres.
The outside of this car is in reasonable condition for its age, it has a few minor bumps and scratches. The seats are in good condition but have a few stains due to having 4 kids climbing all over them.
The carpets are fairly trashed but you can get a brand new set for $385 if you care.
It had a new battery fitted in Feb 2014 and new gas struts to the lift up rear tail-gate. I fitted a replacement windscreen wiper motor which is still in good nick.
The car has a bull-bar with the spare wheel mounted on it to maximise storage/luggage space, it has never been fitted with a towbar.
Tarago's are notoriously hard on brake pads and this car has been fitted with 4 wheel drive spec. pads for increased longevity.
In the 6 years that we have owned this car it has been very reliable and never given any problems.
The kids are all growed up and we no longer need a people mover.
The car is located 1 hour east of Dandenong, comes with a R.W.C. and is registered to march 2016
