Hello potential buyers!
Up for sale is my wife's beloved 2010 Toyota Yaris. It has been in our family since 31/10/2010 and we have been the only owners since new. We are happy to pass it on to someone that will take care of it as much as we have.
We are only selling it because I need to purchase a ute or similar car for work purposes - otherwise we would be keeping it!
Feel free to do your homework before making us an offer and avoiding disappointment as you will be ignored!!! The price is extremely fair considering it's condition, history, rego and accessories compared to what is on the market. However the price is negotiable within reason of course.
Firstly the car is an "NCP90R 10" and it was built on 1/08/2010 so it is a later 2010 model. This is an important thing to know when comparing this model with others listed for sale.
The Yaris has the more expensive Toyota "Silver Pearl" paint job.
The Yaris is extremely fuel efficient to fill up and run day to day. It has an efficient - yet zippy 1.3L VVT-i fuel injected motor that is as reliable as the day it rolled away from the dealer car yard. Very smooth 4spd automatic gear box which is great in the city or free way.
It has been garaged it's entire life, washed & waxed every 4 weeks which is why the paint is shiny like a mirror. Turtle wax, Kitten and Meguiars products have only been used on the exterior and interior to protect it. The Yaris has never been on a dirt or gravel road.
The Yaris has never had any animals in it, nor anyone that smokes (we are non-smokers). It still smells new! There are a few scuffs in the boot from shopping & pram and some in the interior, but that is to be expected after 4 years
Both the heater and air conditioning work perfectly. In Winter, the heater is toasty and warm and in Summer, the air con is ICY cold - actually it is FREEZING.
The Yaris had 4x brand new tyres fitted about 8 weeks ago. The spare tyre is BRAND NEW and all tools for changing a flat are brand new and have never been used.
It also had a brand new $200 Century branded battery installed that is still under warranty.
Sydney City Toyota fitted a brand new GENUINE rear bumper protecter that protects the bumper from scratches for $100.
New front & rear floor mats were purchased 10 months ago for $45 to replace the original ones.
My wife has only ever used SHELL 95 unleaded fuel to fill up and has never put the ethanol rubbish in it (my advice).
Driver & passenger air bags, adjustable drivers seat, 60/40 folding seats (tonnes of room!), power windows all round, blue tooth, mp3 & usb sockets, hands free, amazing factory stereo / cd player, electric adjustable left & right mirrors are just a few things to list. I'd be here forever otherwise =)
We have only had ever the vehicle serviced by the TOYOTA dealership. It has a complete service history from day 1 and we have receipts and log books to prove that. CASTROL oils were the only oils ever used in the Yaris. It has recently had a MAJOR service completed in July and is not due for another service until 72,000kms+.
Basically the car has been like a family member and we have treated it with as much love and respect to keep it in near pristine condition as we could.
We are adding another 6x months rego to the car before the new owner buys it, so you won't have to pay rego until 30/04/2015!!!
The car has had it's usual wash & wax (21/08). I am aiming to keep it as clean as possible for the new owner. My wife is dreading this rainy weather because we love seeing the Yaris squeaky clean and not all dirty.
The car will be available to view from 4:30pm to 8:30pm Mon to Fri during the week. Weekends can be harder as we have a busy schedule, however similar times may be arranged.
