This is obviously one rare and highly desirable classic British sports car - a completely rust free and fully restored example of the legendary British sports car - the TR6 roadster! The trunk, floor boards, rocker panels and all the typically rust prone areas are all completely solid and rust free - an obviously always garaged example that had survived intact prior to its complete and frame off restoration!
The original 'Pure White' (color code 19) factory color paint is in simply stunning condition and the interior is also quite extraordinary with its original 'Black' (trim code 11) bucket seats and matching door panels interior, with lovely original steering wheel and original wood dashboard. The Black color soft top is also as new and as is the cars tonneau cover and full weather tonneau cover and it's all original wheels. The 2.5L 6 cylinder engine purrs quietly under the hood and the 4 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through the gears - an absolute pleasure to drive! The car would have to be considered pretty much flawless, one hell of a statement, but which we believe to be true!
The car has original factory options of AM/FM stereo radio, 4 spd manual transmission, radial tires, heater/defroster & walnut gear knob and the car has a matching 'Pure White' hardtop.
The Triumph TR6 was introduced in 1969 and was a smoothly redesigned successor to the TR5/250. It was facelifted by Karmann of Osnabruck, the legendary German coachbuilders. The TR6 also featured an independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15-inch wheels and tires, pile carpet on floors and trunk/boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instrumentation. Braking was accomplished by disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear.

Mechanical inspections welcomed; if you wish to inspect the vehicle you must do so before bidding; upon request seller will be happy to deliver the vehicle to a local Torrance, CA or Santa Monica, CA mechanic of your choice for your prepaid inspection before the reserve price is met. Once the reserve price is met this vehicle is to be considered sold in ‘as is, where is’ condition to the highest bidder with no guaranties or warranties implied or given. Please have all funds available before bidding as a $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required from the winning bidder within 48 hours (2 business days) of auction end; an immediate $500 non-refundable deposit is required through Ebay’s Paypal service to end the auction early if the "Buy it now" option is exercised and the balance in full is due within ten days of auction end in any case. In the case these terms of sale are not met seller reserves the right to either re-list the vehicle or offer the vehicle to the next highest bidder. Seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time before the reserve price is met. Payment by bank wire transfer, cash in person or cashiers check only. A documentation fee of $70, which is capped and regulated in California as opposed to some other states, is charged on each sale, which once established legally has to be charged equally on each sale, to cover any necessary costs related to FEDEX mailings and other professional documentation paperwork fees for processing documents to establish title and registration in order to complete the transfer of documents to the new registered owner.
