Description
Now that I've outgrown my Astra's size it's time for it to go. The car is the 2008 150bhp 16v model with the six speed gearbox and "sport" extras. This is a clean and tidy car for the year and will give years of good service in the future. Overall I'd say the condition of the car is good, however if I'm being very picky the car has a couple of age related stone chips and scratches that have been picked up over time. The interior is clean and tidy with some small marks
on the head cloth and slight wear to the driver’s seat squab (pictured). The
alloys are the 17” GSi type fitted with good 245/45/17 tyres. The alloys have a
few very small marks on them, again nothing major or that detract from them. I have photographed the worst mark.
Overall this is a good cheap to run family car to own that returns over 50mpg. Equally at home pottering around town with the kids or heading off on longer motorway journeys, this car does it all. Select the "sport" mode and you can benefit from the whole 320Nm of torque that the car produces for a spirited, sporty drive. (that's the same power output as the Astra GSi)
I have partial service history up to 2012. In the last six months the car has had the timing belt, water pump, front brake discs and pads all replaced.
I am including in the sale a quality, 6mth old Westfalia detachable tow bar. (only used for bike carrier so no wiring, but I will include a wiring kit to the buyer). This tow bar, when the swan neck is removed is invisible.
