Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXI
Hi this is my Corsa, i've owned the car since march 2014 and was brought for my first car to use when i passed and while i was learning, this is a great first car as the clutch is very light and easy to get used to only selling as ive brought a 1.4 corsa.
the car is a great little runner and if you know vauxhall's then you'll know that they suffer from ticking, this car however only ticks on start up for 1-3 seconds then stops ticking but only when cold and then runs great and is one of the quietest corsa engines i've heard. the mileage is 97717 and wont go up as not in use so sorn (But new owner will need to tax anyway due to new laws) & when i brought the car (around 95000) i had the timing chain replaced, fresh oil/oil filter/air filter & coolant changed at a cost of £300. the car is MOT'D until December 2015 and came up with only one advisory which was oil leak, i've since diagnosed the problem to the oil pressure switch and recently changed that. before i brought the car it had a new backbox fitted although i have no receipt of this the box looked pretty brand new it has also had the drop links, steering rack track rod ends and lower arms replaced around october/november and tracking done. it has a Toad AI606 Cat 1 alarm with su proximity sensor as an optional extra with receipt (£300) it is insurance approved so it should bring premiums down.
In February 2015 i had the wheels professionally resprayed/refurbished in grey, the reason for this is that i wanted something different from the usual black that everyone seems to go for on these cars. on the interior ive had the centre resprayed gloss black to replicate the corsa D centre and i think it looks very nice and authentic. the original speakers in this car are not very good and so i have replaced all 4 with pioneer units (£100 for the speakers) i was also running a Pioneer sub in a fitted box (also for sale) which made a huge difference to the car sound. the head unit is a Sony WX-GT90BT which has bluetooth audio and hands free (£180 when brought). The general condition of the interior is very good for the age of the car no rips in it.
