VXR8
I bought the VXR8 in 2011 when it only had 5k on the clock, it had been stored in an airconditioned garage as part of a large collection of vehicles by the owner, I have since done 58k.
Myself and the previous owner are directors, so the car has been serviced regardless of cost. the VXR8 offer similar performance to an M5 but the VXR8 is a simple design with no complicated suspension, drivetrain or electronics, and half the price.
It has been very reliable, and great fun to drive, as you can see from the pictures it is in very good condition.
It has a walkinshaw full stainless steel exhaust system from new, and sounds very good and is neighbour friendly.
A very rare car and the prices have been increasing.
Next MOT due 27/05/2016, I have serviced the car myself using mobil one fully synthetic oil, fitted a K&N filter and iridium spark plugs, It has a timing chain so no cambelt to change.
Cheap to insure , I get 27 mpg on the motorway, the auto box is the exact same 0-60 time as the manual and does better MPG. I found the manual gearbox to be a bit agricultural.
