Volkswagen Convertible 1962.
The first picture is how the car looked when purchased 2 years ago.
Closer inspection revealed more body work than first thought, which is why it had to come apart.
1500cc engine x2.
Converted to run on 12 volts.
I don’t know if the engine in the pictures works, but the one that came with the car when it was purchased does, and is included.
4 speed manual.
Lowered front end.
Alloy wheels with Cragar wheel adapters.
Rust free floorpan.
Bought as a project, but circumstances have changed, ( downsizing ), so selling, reluctantly.
Left rear quarter has been repaired badly at some stage as can be seen in the pictures.
Comes with reasonable guards, bonnet and engine cover, spare front and rear section for repairs and 2 sets of front and rear bumpers.
Front and rear seats are ok and included.
The convertible top is ok but there is only the passenger side rear side window.
There is NO registration or roadworthy.
The car has been registered in Tasmania.
Inspection is welcome.
