vw superbeetle 1973 soft top

Very rare 1973 soft top in original condition. First edition superbeetle L with independent suspension. Has all decals and would make an awesome restoration project.She has been wrapped up in dry storage since her registration ran out March 2010 ( have last registration papers ).
She was a daily drive until then. It is also when i bought her drove her home, parked it and left her. While it did drive home the engine was running rough, since then I haven't touched it.
The rest of the car seemed fine, just engine tuning. The previous owner said he had work done on the brakes, and front end bushes.
He also said her name was Vega (meaning shinning star) and had been called this by previous owners.
Floors seems to be good but previous repairs can be noticed. Has some minor rust bubbles in right hand side just above running board and a small bubble on left hand quarter panel.
Also has minor scratches and blemish's around her.
As for the soft top i am not sure of its origin and have only seen one other. I would be happy if any could tell me more.
The top is a two piece double sided vinyl and can be used full or half. has a sturdy cross member and all edges are turned and seamed to a factory standard.
The previous owner referred to it as a suicide chop.
Interior is original and what one would expect for a car 43 years old and black in color.
