For Sale By Owner: 1968 VW Beetle - Bug. Professionally restored and converted to an electric vehicle by ECOS (Electric Cars Of Springfield) Motors. See marketing photos above.
- Front disc brakes. Electronic dashboard. Heated seats.
- 96 volt system.
- Range - Approximately 60 miles.
- Full fabric-type sunroof (gives it a convertible feel).
- Air Conditioning components included (they were taken out of the car by the previous owner - could be re-installed if desired).
- Only 4859 miles since conversion.
- Rear solar panel (charges auxiliary battery).- See Hot VW Magazine article in the photos.
- Car is located in Frisco, TX.
- Note: Rear bumper has been pulled from the car (I left a bucket of pool chlorine next to it, and it rusted - could be re-chromed).
