1974 Volkswagen Beetle-Classic

The pan has no rust, it did have a little surface rust inside on the floor I scraped it and coated it with rust converter. Someone at some point had undercoating done to the bottom of the pan and that kept the pan in great shape. The 5 tires are brand new don’t even have a mile on them. It has 5 custom EMPI 8 spoke mags.
I converted the wind shield washer to an electric pump. It has an Awia AM/FM CD player. The interior is in great shape. The exterior is in great shape, it’s not perfect it has some dings here and there.
This is a 4 speed transmission. The transmission looks like someone either had changed oil or the transmission has been changed recently. Most VW’s this age don’t get the transmission oil changed and the oil looks black but this one looks fresh. No smog needed.
The engine is a 4 cylinder and all the number match. I changed the ugly stock tail lights to these beautiful tear drops. The stock tail lights are behind the back seat if you want to make it stock again. The engine appears to be strong. This is not perfect but it’s a really nice car with a lot of work and a lot of new parts done to it. If you want it perfect you would have to pay 3 times the asking price.
Keep in mind this car will keep its value and the more you put into this car and take care of it the more it will be worth. Battery has a special rubber mat under it and a plastic cover on top with a rubber mat on it. The front end has a stabilizer. This is a California car. The two back seat side windows are tinted, the rear window was tinted but it made the car inside too dark so I removed the tint. Fixed many little items and replaced many nuts and bolts, etc.
