Beautiful 1966 Classic Beetle 1300cc, 4 Speed Manual, 6 Volt Car, AM/FM Stereo, Everything Works!Was very well taken care of have almost $2400. in receipts from a VW Bug specialist in the past 2 years from the previous owner (he insisted to only care for her with a specialist). This car Presents itself very well, the previous owner had earned several car show trophies with her!
Runs and shifts great, Recent Weber Carb, this 1300 Revs beautifully as she should.
Very fun to drive, Makes just about everyone smile when they see and Hear her coming down the road, The original Smell and nostalgia of this car is unprecedented, a true Classic, Last year of the 6 volt System, Factory Seatbelts.
MOST IMPORTANT!!!
I have looked at many of these cars only to be disappointed when I looked underneath to see all the Rot, This is a rust-free Numbers Matching (spare tire, under rear seat, and engine as per Samba) car The spare tire well and battery compartments are rust free. Brand new tires (2 weeks) due to dry rot. No disappointments, No Leaks!!! Car is Located on Long Island, NY, Please call me if you have any questions or would like to see the car or have someone look at it for you.
Please do not make offers unless your buying the car, the $500 Deposit is non-refundable.
The only con to this car is that the drivers door doesn't lock with the key, think it needs to be adjusted, can take one or two tries to open the driver door handle.
