1966 VW Beetle in Bahama Blue with Grey tweed interior
ENGINE/TRANS: 1800cc , aluminum block, Scat crank, forged pistons and rods, EMPI performance 044 heads, light weight flywheel , newer clutch, straight cut gears, Pro built twin Weber 44 mm carbs with velocity stacks and heavy duty linkage, serpentine belt drive, MSD 6al control box, MSD Billet distributor, Msd Coil and plug wires. Chrome 12V alternator, Heavy duty "Freeway Flyer " transmission , Painted engine tins and including shroud and custom aluminum firewall. Stainless steel exhaust. ( send a note for a 10sec video of the engine running ). This car has no heat. The pipes have been welded shut.
BODY: new front clip and original fenders, new O.E.M Deck lid, new window molding, new weather strip all the way around, Porsche 911 LED headlights , chrome bumpers with over riders and LED tail-lights. Dual circuit brake system. Original 1966 rust free pan
FRONT SUSP, King pin replaced with a narrowed 4" ball joint beam with lowering adjusters added, disk brakes up front, with air shocks and Fuchs style chrome wheels. New 195-17 Kumhos
REAR SUSP: 66 Beetle with disk brakes , Heavy Duty Axles, New shocks and Fuchs style chrome wheels. New 205-17 Kumhos
TRUNK: new gas tank. new trunk struts and trunk release lock and cable. MB Quartz Amps ( one for mids and highs and separate amp for the subs) and air pump for front suspension
INTERIOR: Brand new grey tweed covers for the front and rear seats, grey hook and loop carpet, custom built speaker panels with matching carpet. 1966 steering wheel and instruments. Controls for air shocks and sub-woofer are hidden in the glovebox. Mcintosh MX406 stereo with 10 speakers and custom box in the rear shelf area, that is painted to match the color of he body. Approx 1000 watts in total. Short throw shifter. Wiper, Speedo, fuel gauge and hazards all work. The floor under the carpets is dynamat'd
