1979 Volkswagen Beetle-Classic

Up for sale is a 1979 Volkswagen Convertible. This Bug was owned by my Grand father for roughly 15 years. He bought it on Pine Island, FL and that's where it has stayed since. Driven some each winter. A new engine was installed in St. James City 3 years ago. There are probably less than 500 miles on new engine. Last winter we removed the factory fuel injection to replace with carburation. This car has spent most of its time (since we've owned it) sitting on jack stands. It was driven to church on Sunday and the occasional dinner outing. The car is not in perfect condition, but it is fun to cruise around in as long as you aren't in a hurry. Both front seats have rips. There are a few spots where the paint is beginning to peel. I am redoing all four drum brakes currently. The car has a brand new battery this winter. Please look at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. I'd be happy to show you the car, but test drives for serious buyers only. It does have a tow bar for ease of transportation and it will be included in the auction. I will also include all old fuel injection pieces, if desired by new owner.Baby not included in sale!
