1967 volkswagen beetle - classic

Volkswagen Beetle - Classic. This is a 3 owner vehicle. I have original bill of sale from dealer and a lot of maintenance records for the car. We bought this car from the second owner in 2005 and drove it for 4 years. When we bought it in 2005 we took it in to a body shop and had it thoroughly checked out. It had a small, quarter sized, rust spot on the drivers door that was professionally repaired and we had the car repainted in the original color. Only minor surface rust on floor boards, battery compartment, etc. None of the typical rusted out VW heater channel. At that point we also had a mechanic go through the car and replace clutch, gaskets, etc.
We ended up moving across the country so we had it professionally prepped for storage. It has been in storage since then in either or cargo trailer or the garage. We recently it sent to a Volkswagen mechanic and brought back to life. We hauled it around all these years because my husband always wanted to get it back up and running and have a tinker toy but at this point in his life he has determined that he has other priorities for his spare time. This car runs well and has been well taken care of by all three of its owners. The interior shows wear but is original and in decent shape. Mechanically the car is solid. Fires right up, no leaks and drives fine at highway speeds (for a bug!).
