1996 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

1996 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic. I have a nearly new 1996 VW Beetle for sale. It was purchased new in Mexico in 1996 and put in a private collection. It was purchased out of the collection 2 years ago, with (5200 kilometers)3231miles. After purchase, interior was removed and entire inside of the car had dynamat installed. It is the most quiet classic Beetle I've ever driven. It also received new rear brakes and wheel cylinders, as they were weeping from just sitting. Momo steering wheel and performance exhaust were also added, but original steering wheel and exhaust are included with the car. It has aftermarket wheels and new tires and will include original wheels and hubcaps, fir with brand new tires as well. At this point the original KM speedo was swapped out for a MPH model. Since all this an additional 227 miles have been driven, bringing total miles to 3458 miles. Original speedo is also included in the sale. Beetle is powered by a 1600cc fuel injected engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. With the fuel injection, it starts instantly and runs really smooth. It runs and drives great. Lights, wipers and accessories all work as they should.
Interior is a black and gray, vynil and cloth mix. It is in immaculate condition.
Exterior is untouched factory paint with a few issues. There is a chip, very low on right rear fender, a scratch on the inside of the right door pillar, and a chip on the left outer door pillar. There are photos in the gallery showing these issues.
This is probably the closest your going to find to a new classic Beetle. Also included with the car will be the original Mexican brochure for the car.
