This car was sold new at Hughs Motor Company in Columbus Ga on 04-05-1971 to Mr Lawrence & Mrs Ruby Taylor of Upton Georgia and has been in Georgia since sold! This beauty is a true unrestored rock solid non-rusty garage kept ultra original survivor condition VW! The miles are showing 63k on odometer & in our opinion they could be correct because the car looks & drives the part but we have no documentation on that & the little fella will be sold miles exempt ! These were offed in this Karmann Edition Coachwork with yellow paint & black interior with black Cabriolet roof & silver steel wheels with nice set of match radials & chrome vw caps, correct steering wheel with rim horn blow, imitation wood trim console, working hot heat see the almost 140 degrees its blowing, Original working Sapphire AM radio, carpet kit, floor mats, bumper guards & much more! This car is in remarkable original condition! Super nice paint that shines nice & has aged well it shows great& looks like a re-spray. Fantastic original interior with light age & use. Fantastic top that looks like it could be original with nice headliner & has top boot cover & has glass rear window. Nice glass & nice chrome! The dual port 1600cc runs out nice and the engine bay is in original condition and shows nice, nice smooth 4-speed manual with tight clutch, super nice trunk area & spare, Super nice undercarrage! All original books & manuals & dealer delivery stamp & vin# on original books from 1971! Lets be clear this is not a restored or makeover VW these cars we not meant to be in this condition after 51 years and most are restored or beat down ones! This car is one rare find in this original condition! This VW is sold with clear current Georgia registration & bill of sale only. Vehicle is currently tagged & legal to be on road & transfer to new owner. A title is not required on one of this vintage in Georgia & is a non-titled car from 1985 and back here in Ga. We have sold many vehicles over the years like this worldwide with no issues. Most states recognize this documentation from Georgia.
