1971 - Volkswagen Beetle - Classic VW - 1st year of the Super Beetle Convertible. Just completed a 2 year restoration on this solid body, no rust New Mexico Bug. Too many new parts to list so here's a few.Rebuilt engine.
New Carburetor, gaskets, filters, hoses, valve covers.
New Paint done by Local Professional Company. It's PPG red - taken down to metal as seen in pic's.
New Convertible Top, wood bows, padding, headliner, boot done by Local Professional Company.
New Gas Tank, lines, filter.
New Complete wiring harness, all new wiring installed by a Local Professional Company.
New Chrome Rims (5 including spare) Hub Caps
New Tires (5 including spare)
New Interior, seat pads & covers, carpet, door & quarter panels, door handles, seat belts, sun visors
New rearview mirrors Inside & out
New Radio
New body & fender seals
New window rubber
New tail lights & turn signal assemblies & covers
New German made running boards. The Good Ones!
New Body Moldings.
This Bug Starts, Runs, Drives & Stops as Good As It Looks!!!
I have over $25,000.00 invested & I know you never get out what you put in however it was a great project to do & this is a very nice car. Whoever buys it will be getting a GREAT DEAL!
