Description
1968 Volkswagen Beetle Classic California Car, Automatic Stick Shift transmission, 52054 original miles, and only two previous owners.
NO RUST, DENTS, or BONDO! The fenders are separated (4 fender trims included) from the body and ready to Sand and Paint!
I Inherited this from a late relative and have no intentions of doing anything with it other than selling it.
I'm the third owner for obvious title and registration reasons only.
The VW comes with many new and some used parts as follows;
Already installed; New back and front seats reupholstered, sun-visors, upgraded front seat belts.
New tires and a NAPA 12 Volt battery were installed a little over a year ago.
Loose parts as shown, including window seals and trims, four fender gaskets/trim, rear seat belts, new chrome trim, carpet kit, car cover, etc.
There are also new and used parts that I have no idea what they are? And many (I ran out of photos) more.
Speedo, Gas Gauge and "Idiot lights" work as they should.
Glass is very good all around with the exception of minor windshield wiper scratches.
The engine sounds strong and runs well after a brief warm-up.
The automatic transmission shifts a little abruptly into the gears. There are various videos on 'YouTube' showing how to adjust it.
It drives and breaks fine (no shimmy) without any known problems.
Also, minor electrical problems, mainly some of the exterior tail lights turn/signals lighting, could be a bulb change or fuse; I didn't check it out.
Original transistor radio works.
There is probably over $1000.00 in new parts alone!
Here is your chance to paint it and put it back together. You will more than double your investment!
I have more photos of the car and additional parts
