It seems that there's a number of you guys that are just looking at pictures and you really don't know what you're bidding on. I am the owner of a limo company and I just received this on trade in so I know nothing about it? What I do know is These little cars make their own market value! Whatever you buy it for whatever you invest even if you did nothing to it but let it sit in the driveway next year it will be worth more money. Especially with only 101,400 original miles!! I dropped a battery in it and a universal fuel pump I fiddled with it and it started right up. It seems that the more I let it run the better it got. I'm sure the right professional VW guy could get this thing running and driving perfectly over the weekend for less than $1,000.
( DOES NOT NEED FULL RESTORATION ) its 100% complete.
The right person could make this a daily driver AS IS. Has some minor typical rust on the back floor where the battery goes see pictures. All in all I am positive this is an easy project for the right Vw person! There is some extra parts and a brand new rug set from the previous owner. Also this is a great opportunity for an East coast buyer. Usually these cars are on the other side of the country so there's no need to spend $1,000 hop of flight stay the weekend to kick the tires and not buy it If you're from the tri-state area you could drive down and see this car in person in a few hours. Your shipping company must have a winch I don't think it's capable of driving up on a tow truck under its own power please follow the rules and read the complete
