Professional paint restoration in the original color Black 3 years ago, It has several options on the car not usually found. Gasoline heater by Stuart Warner (for VW of America) works great. Stainless steel roof rack. Steel fender skirts. Very rare tool kit (fits on spare tire). Custom Autosound Stereo (USB port). Looks like old Blaupunkt.
The previous owner had a 1776 cc rebuilt engine installed. It runs great and is very peppy. Standard Crank (counter balanced EMPI). Rods Stock VW (balanced to .5 grams). Heads are 40x35.5. Autocraft rocker arms (solid shaft). Engle 110 cam. Lightened (12lb) Flywheel. Porsche 911 Starter. New clutch was put in 2011. New brakes/shoes and discs last month. New wiper enigne and wiring this month as well. It has 4 new wide white tires from Coker. Front axel replaced (car had been lowered in the front) and 4 new shocks installed 2011. Popout windows in great working order.
