Description
Hi and thanks for looking!
This 1969 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible would be a perfect candidate for a proper nut and bolt restoration or a Resto-Mod project!
This VW is a very honest, completely rust free Arizona car.
From what I can tell the car was originally a pale yellow color and has been repainted once to the bright yellow it is today. The bodywork appears to be relatively straight with very little body filler and and only a handful of visible body dings (parking lot door dings, nothing serious). It would be a simple job for most body technicians to prepare this car for a fresh paint job. The bumpers are in good condition and the car has all of its original trim, save for the strip that runs the length of the trunk.
Most of the interior is original save for the aftermarket radio and speaker system. It is in decent condition and mainly it needs a through cleaning, new door cards and a new padded dashboard to bring it back up to good condition. The top is ripped quite badly and will need to be replaced if the car is gong to be stored outside or driven in the rain.
The car runs and drives quite well around town. The brake system was just serviced and now has a new master and wheel cylinders, brake springs, hoses and other hardware. The engine has a new PICT 28 carburetor, valve cover seals and oil cooler seals. The transmission does have the usual Volkswagen 4th gear syncro problem and will need to be rebuilt sometime down the road. It also has the usual VW oil drips from the sump plate and studs.
Please message me if you have any questions or would like specific pictures of the vehicle.
This vehicle is sold as is, where is, with no warranty. Please inspect the pictures closely and ask all questions before bidding.
Thanks again and good luck bidding!
