Description
This is Wendy. She is a 1974 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper, READY TO CAMP IN THIS WEEKEND! She is inspected through June 2019. She is a working/running vehicle. I recommend the buyer have knowledge of maintaining this type of bus due to it's age.
Please review the pictures thoroughly, as I am not a mechanic and am unable to answer engine questions. She does not have original cabinets or accessories such as the tent or the cot that goes across/over the front seats, which if you want to do weekend camping the extra space is convenient.
• Tires are in good condition.
• Seat belts were added and resucured by previous owner
• Seats have been re-cushioned under the original upholstery
• Pop top works great. A ripped patch has been hand-sewn.
I am happy to send more pictures if a close look helps answer questions. She is being sold "as is". You may look at her in person to verify condition.
More details:
• The engine lid does notclose snug as you can see in one of the pictures. It appears to havebeen hit in the back or someone driving it backed into something. Wedrive it as you see it in the picture.
• Whenboth the window washers and the lights are on at the same time, it drawsa lot from the battery. I drive it during the day so this was not anissue for me.
• Drivers side has rectangularholes (covered with hinged metal doors) made by a previous owner for anair conditioner unit (I think?).
