Description
This is a classic VW bus, ready for full restoration, needs a complete engine rebuild, 3rd piston is out, will start but not driveable, Made in Germany. no rust only on the exterior.
I believe there may be a discrepancy about title, when a title search is done? This is a legal title! The owner Joseph Leigh, was elderly and had lost his original. This is what the DMV gave him, so I included a pic, so you can verify. I hope it helps? Thanks J
This some info., It only has surface rust and all the spots that were predominate, I sent you. It was painted an ugly dark blue, yet the original color underneath is the classic grey/light blue. It has some sort of lining on the underneath. It is not rust, it is from NM, very dry. The red stuff is mostly red dirt from the red rocks. I live high on a mesa.
I do believe it is pretty much all original. I bought it off an old man, I was going to fix it myself and flip it. I am going through a terrible divorce and am need of attorney fees. I know what it is worth., when done up. I paid $2500 and we did a paint job on the mans house.
Serious buyers only, I don't have time for emails, it is worth more then $2,500, there is no reserve price. Please transactions must go through ebay, I had trouble before. No texting.
If serious and can be done swift, call me on 575-834-0273
