Description
We rebuilt this hippie bus to be our home on wheels and we've driven it from the East Coast to the West Coast and then to Colorado. It's been so much fun! We've been on the road for over a year and we need something bigger, so we're putting our 1978 VW Westfalia Campervan up for sale. It drives beautifully and we use it as our everyday ride. It has a stock rebuilt motor (only 10k miles), custom interior, new tires and auxiliary solar power kit. The bench seat/foldable bottom bed and top bed are in good working condition. Rear Driver Side Panel & Rear Light Fixture (just cosmetic, we got nicked in the desert and have access to replacement panels, if desired)
Some rust/minor dents around body/front floor panels
Driver door only opens from the inside (hasn't been an issue for us)
Door locks on driver side and slider
Driver window needs a new handle (we have extra ones)
Small hole in lower bench seat fabric (we have an original piece of fabric for a patch)
Will eventually need new front main seal/small leak when the weather is hot
