Description
Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon.
Incredible journey machine! This is a rare find and this beauty is ready for a new owner! It drives and is mechanically sound. the camper still has original canvas top, upper sleeping cot and child's cot that goes in the front cab, and amazingly the separate stool with original upholstery is still in good shape, the engine purrs and no oil leaks with only 1k miles on new cylinder heads, new heater boxes, original transmission still works perfect, new shocks, good clutch. It has front disk brakes, drum on the rear. 1 owner since 1994, I had it painted in 1999 and kept it in shelter and maintained it on the road in running condition for decades. minor damage to right rear light panel as shown (incl. the metal parts to fix). there is minimal rust coming back here and there but all rust was addressed and halted 20 yrs ago, original wood cabinetry, upholstery, wood headliner etc. modifications include -gas stove mod, oil cooler mod, headlamp upgrade, fog lamps, accessory dashboard shelf, progressive carb, oil temp gauge, tachometer, 1800 engine, two tone paint, and more. video of walk around with engine runningSelling As Is, inspections welcome.
