1971 VW Deluxe Bus - Volkswagen

1971 is arguably the best year for the Bay Window. It is the last year for the cool round tail lights and the first year for disc brakes. It also has the durable, easy to work on 1600cc engine.
ALL ORIGINAL PAINT AND METAL (except bumpers). Bus spent most of it's life in Nevada and is garage kept now. VERY LITTLE RUST. Mostly just surface rust below the windshield as seen in the pictures. Solid floors. Try to find another Bus that is 50 years old, in this condition, that has never been crashed, damaged or re-painted. All the trim is there (including chrome window border) and is in good shape. Sliding door works and latches correctly. Includes spare tire and jack.
Complete interior with new headliner, floor mats, window and door seals. Seats are in good condition with new covers on front. Kenwood Bluetooth radio. VDO Clock.
I fixed the Bus up for my daughter to driver to school. She drove it every day. Now she is in college and it's just taking space.Everything works! Starts and idles smooth. Does not overheat. Brakes have been redone. Rebuilt shift linkage. Electrical charges properly. All lights work (turn, brake, reverse, dome, etc). It's a solid daily driver.
