Description
1990 Vanagon GL camper. Purchased in 2015 from 3rd owner off The Samba. 158,117 miles
Converted Subaru 2.2L with Kennedy Engineering Kit, CA smog plate installed. *Does not currently pass smog in CA!* Transmission rebuilt in 2019. Widest sleeper couch and 3rd seat included (not installed in photos). All seatbelts working. Pop top with stove, sink and fridge. 16" Porsche Cup 1 wheels from previous owner. Custom curtains made and upholstery in great condition. Lots of work including radiator replacement, front to rear stainless steel coolant hose replacement, fuel line replacement, catalytic converter, replaced differential. All service paperwork included. No accidents, clean title, ready to transfer!
Overall very good condition. We used this for camping on weekends. Lots of life and adventures still left!
Needs work:
- solar battery connection (65 watt panel on roof)
- fridge
- stereo (replaced in 2015)
- monitor
- propane tank not currently attached, but provided and stove works
- odometer/speedometer spotty
- tent has a little wear
- some cosmetic damage on the front, the bra covers it up but that is also showing wear
