1978 VW Riviera Pop-up Camper Van Conversion 2.2 Subaru EJ22 1998

We need to re-home our well-loved VW Camper Van, as our lives have changed direction and we don't use it anymore. It's been a lot of fun and has created great memories for us!It is very sleep-able as is ~ the bed is very comfortable and easily converts to a bench. The Pop-up is in great condition ~ no tears, no leaks, no mold ~ and has newer aluminum hinges that work great! Original stove & refrigerator have been removed and 2 fun tables were added for more open social & living space ~ just pack your camp stove & cooler!
After-market features/upgrades it came to us with 5 years ago:
- Rebuilt 2.2L 1998 Subaru EJ22 engine ~ approx 15K miles on rebuild (odometer mileage on Title is original VW engine)
- Rebuilt transmission
- New brakes
- New air shocks
- Dash-mounted "onboard computer" with digital speedometer, mechanic codes, etc. synced to Subaru engine
- Porsche rims
- Newer floors
- Custom speakers
- Cab heater
- Re-upholstered bed and chairs
- New aluminum hinges on furniture and Pop-up
- Fun fold-out tables
Features/upgrades we have done:
- Power brake booster
- New battery
- New radiator core
- New cooling system hoses
Flaws/needs/nonworking:
- Nonworking original odometer & speedometer
- Body has some rust & marks ~ would look mint with some TLC and new paint
- Unknown intermittent engine problem ~ it's running now
- Needs brake service ~ front brakes stick since not being used in the last year
- We live in the Pacific Northwest (its raining here), so it will likely need a detailed cleaning when you get it

- Horn, headlights, blinkers, door locks, fuel gauge, radio/CD player, fan, defroster, temperature & oil pressure gauges
- Clear & clean Oregon title and current registration expiring 11-30-22 ~ Current Oregon DEQ Certification
