Volkswagen Westfalia Camper - Weekender Edition T-3 Vanagon, Euro-Import

1985 VW Vanagon Weekender Pop-Top outfitted by Westfalia. Althea was maintained in a barn in Germany for 15 years and was finally brought to the US. It has an open interior and larger bed than typical Westfalia's with the smaller lower bed. This is a rare German VW Weekender/ Transporter driven by a German citizen in Germany that made it to America and it uses all the same internal parts as the regular Vanagon. She rides very well, starts up clean and rides smooth. She is a camper's dream.
It has an Austrian made penthouse style Pop-top and a rare 5 speed manual transmission which works very well on hills and mountains. Sleeps 4. Original Porsche 915, 1.9 liter engine. The European KPH meter stops at 99,999 per their Euro specs at the time. The running boards and bumpers are from the Transporter / Weekender series. Original Prohl Dehlhi wheels in America with the original Euro-Dash. Interior was completely stripped down inside, professionally detail cleaned, painted and rebuilt with extra radiant insulation. It has the different European tow-hook and original Westfalia Gas hookups.
The A/C and all front and rear A/C blowers are in perfect condition blowing all levels, it needs the AC belt added back with freon. Fridge, gas and propane units removed for wider bed and more room and safety. (They were old and dangerous, most conversions are removing them) *This import uses all the same parts as the American Vanagon.
