Clean 1982 VW Vanagon with 1.9 (1900) Diesel NA engine. 4 spd Manual Transmission. Aircleaner, intake manifold and exhaust manifold were transferred on to this engine. Looks just like a 1.6 Diesel but has 30% more power. if you ever drove a 1.6 Diesel Vanagon you will appreciate all the extra power. If you never drove a 1.6 Diesel Vanagon and are used V8 powered vans this van would be a slug do not expect a race van. this Van would make a good base for a hippie mobile or a camper conversion. Fenders are very straight, runs nice, good brakes, tires have over 80 % thread left. This van comes with Clean California title. It is registered as a diesel so no smog required. Odometer shows 90,100 miles. We have no way of verifying the mileage but it is a six digit odometer and the car sure feels and drives like a low mileage vehicle should. The interior is missing. The two front seats & one original back seat is included with seat belts. In addition there is two other seat benches out of later style Vanagons. One of them is the style that folds down into a bed. I am not sure what it would take to install into the Vanagon but it looks do able. the headliner is in good shape. There are a few scratches and small dents on the vehicle but a lot less then you would expect on a 33 year old vehicle. You do not see low mileage straight, diesel Vans like this to often so do not let this one get away.
