Description
Only reason we're selling is that we're moving abroad!
VW Vanagon, Automatic Transmission!
Just put in a rebuilt/refurbished automatic transmission, new fuel lines and oil change and paid $2925 to have that done, so this is a steal!
New transmission rocks!
Body in overall good condition, engine (quoting the mechanic here) "needs a little TLC " (tune-up, new fuses, probably a new battery). Auxiliary battery under driver's seat as well. Runs great. Canvas pop-up in great condition. Body could use a little rust touch-up--most of this stuff is recent, as it took over a year to get the transmission fixed and was out of our care!
Van has been to Asheville several times, and that was with the old transmission, so he'd surely roll up those hills now!! My kids and I enjoyed this van, our hope is it finds a new home and gives a new family some great memories!!
I bought this van from California and had it shipped. Body was perfect when we got it. I've had it for about 6 1/2 years, any rust is recent and from SC! The factory-installed stove, fridge, etc. was replaced by previous owner with a cooler that drains on its own. We haven't missed the kitchen feature and have loved the cooler. Second area is a small storage space which is great as well!
Local pick-up. If you're having it shipped, buyer 100% responsible for arranging and paying for shipping.
