1989 VW Cabriolet, 5spd, the perfect car for summer!
This Cabriolet will make a fun commuter car, or a great platform for an enthusiast to modify.
This car runs great, it does burn a little oil consistent with a 161k mile car. Every once in a while I can smell fuel, so it may need some attention there, but I still drive this car on a regular basis.
The interior is in really good shape for its age. It's biggest flaw is some cracked plastic on the tops of the doors. Tires are almost new, and the clutch feels good.
The car had a respray at some point and I know the hood was replaced, I'd give the paint a 7/10.
This car is being sold as is. Cash or certified funds only. A $1000.00 deposit is required with in 24 of auction close. Only after receiving 100% of the payment will I release to signed title. Buyer arranges pick up or shipping. I'd be willing to drive a half hour to met your meet you at the airport if need be.
