Welcome to my listing for my VW Caddy Maxi Life - 2.0ltr (140ps)
I am regrettably selling my much loved caddy maxi life, i purchased this car about 2.5 years ago from a VW main dealer. The car has been brilliant in every aspect, the very rear bench seat has hardly been in the car (stored in garage) due to not needing it, with the odd exception of holidays and transporting family members around! The middle row of 3 seats has a single (removable or foldable on its own) and also a double (also removable and foldable) the car has been so versatile with this setup, I've used it as an everyday car for the family, removed seats and used it as a small camper for VW shows and other camping trips. however, the time has come for a much bigger and more camper focused vehicle (LWB T5 transporter) due to planned trips to the alps and family camping holidays
The car has always driven great, it has a full VW service history and in addition to this, when we purchased the car we also purchased a service package (there is still 1 service (vw major service) paid for in this package, and i have been informed by VW that this will automatically pass on to the new owner as it is on the reg number not the owner) therefor your next service will be completely free of charge (parts and labour) when it becomes due.
When i purchased the van i also purchased a set of waterproof seat covers (for the front) that have been on since i owned it, as such the interior is in great shape. It has factory fitted touch screen cd/radio navigation system with visual rear parking aid. the air conditioning works perfectly and is lovely on a hot day (when we occasionally get them) you will find storage compartments all over the car, under seats, under the floor, in the dash ect ect and 12v sockets throughout the length of the van. the rear windows have all been tinted to allow some privacy when carry items and also to keep the car cool in summer. outside the car benefits from factory vw roof rails and stainless tubular running boards.
overall this is a fantastic car, and i will really miss it when its gone, it has the best of both worlds (car and van) for most situations, but always keeps the comfort of a prestige car. There are a few age related marks but overall in very good condition, i would encourage viewing to fully appreciate it. The rare 140PS engine (most are 1.6 and underpowered, i searched for some time to find this model) pulls really well through all 6 gears (which are all smooth and firm) and there is no smoke/funny noises ect, it starts first turn of the key no matter the weather or how long it has stood.
