Description
For Sale is my 1992 VW corrado VR6 in Green.
This car is in excellent condition and absolutely standard, it was professionally respayed (full strip down glass out) in it original Green 1 year ago and was then put straight into storage, the bodywork is as a new car no rust, marks etc.
While rebuilding after the repay it have had may bits replaced seals, clips, gear nob, windscreen, etc.
The interior is also in excellent condition but of course there is a little wear as would be expected but its really very nice, it was all taken apart for the respray and meticulously put back together.
I have owned the car for 9 years and before this it was owned by my brother for almost 3 years.
In the time I have owned it it has had many and all the new parts that it needed, a engine top half rebuild with chain tensioners and guides , water pump, Samco coolant pipes, heater matrix, break callipers, recent disk and pads, wheel refurbishment, etc. It has also had the rear axle rebuilt recently with new passive steering bushes break lines etc.
I just had the MOT and it when straight through, I then drove back 100 happy miles feels very tight and new.
Everything works sunroof, Rear Spoiler, electrics, The only things left to do is the central looking does not work from the drivers side, it needs a new micro switch in the handle, if i can get one in time i will do this, there is a little spring missing from the fuel filler cap again i am looking out for one and also the rear bushes of the front suspension I feel need replacing (based on how much difference the rears made) although they are absolutely fine for the MOT, again if i have time i will do these but it is priced taking this all into account.
It is a lovely car and it has been of much enjoyment over the years driving and slowly fixing tweaking and servicing. it has a full service history up to 138.000 and then I have serviced it myself every year since.
It has all log books and service books with it and two keys.
I would like the next person to own it to want to keep in the condition I have and maintain properly, not to race it around all the time it has been a lot of my time and money over the years, It is a shame to have to sell but it is not good if it is not driven and I don't haft the time anymore unfortunately.
The car is a Cat C at the moment due to being clipped outside the house and the insurance company deemed it uneconomical to repair the damage, it was a minor scrap to the rear wheel arch I have included photos of this and I am awaiting the VIC check with in two weeks to have the marker removed.
