Description
2002 Volkswagen Eurovan Westfalia poptup, well cared for, with 165K miles. This is one sweet camping van! Bought this fully restored by GoWesty in 2011 (with 137K miles) for over $40K, loaded with extras.
This van is set up and ready to go: drives well and A/C blows cold (completely serviced and charged up last year). Inside, it's got a 43-quart Engel fridge/freezer mounted on quick release plates where the passenger side rear facing seat goes (seat is available and included if you need to seat seven), hooked up to a second battery that charges off either the engine, AC outlet, or the included GoWesty portable solar panel. For the passengers, there's a rear facing DVD player, DC powered clip-on oscillating fan, and 1100W power inverter. Stereo and speakers all work. Eclipse sun shades help keep the interior cool. (Note: one of the armrests on the driver's side rear facing seat is loose).
The poptop is in good condition; the zippers work and the fabric is in good condition, although there are a few small holes from wear and tear (see pictures), and it comes with a safety net for the kids. Exterior is silver, in good condition but with a few scratches (see pictures); the bottom portion is black texture-coated for extra protection. An 8-foot Fiamma awning ("blue ocean" color scheme, in great shape) extends over the sliding door to help keep things cool. Roof has Yakima racks with kayak loader bars; and there's a trailer hitch for additional carrying/towing needs.
Tires are brand new. I had this van fully inspected by VW specialist Harloff Automotive (San Diego) last month (July), and performed all recommended service/maintenance work.
Local pickup only.
